Whether you prefer a leisurely walk or a more athletic hike, the way to us can be tailored to your taste.

 

For those who prefer a shorter route, take the Langenstein chairlift in Sulden; those who wish to start directly from the valley have a choice of two beautiful ascents.

Three paths lead to us:

Option 1:

From the mountain station of the Langenstein chairlift on trail No. 10 and 4a - approx. 1.5 hours (280 m elevation gain)

Option 2:

From Sulden near St. Gertraud Church on trail No. 4 through larch and pine forests - approx. 2 hours (700 m elevation gain)

Option 3:

From Sulden near St. Gertraud Church on trail No. 8 to the hut - approx. 2.5 hours (700 m elevation gain)

Getting to Sulden in the Ortler Region

Whether by car or public transport – Sulden is easily accessible and the perfect starting point for your mountain experience around Ortler.

By car, you can reach Sulden via the Vinschger State Road until Spondinig, where the road branches off towards Sulden. If you are traveling by public transport, take the Vinschger Bahn to Spondinig and then the bus towards Sulden – the stop “Sulden, Tourismusbüro” is a good starting point for your ascent to the hut.
